PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to form electrode terminals to pass the core of a cap plate, thereby preventing the reduction of the productivity of a secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly(210) including a positive electrode tab(150) and a negative electrode tab(140); a can(200) introducing the electrode assembly; a cap plate(310a) including an electrode through hole(311a) formed on the position is leaned toward one side from center, and sealing the upper opening of the can; an electrode terminal(320), which is formed to be expanded from the upper part of the cap plate to pass the center of the cap plate, inserted into the terminal through-hole; an insulating gasket(340), which has a size and a shape corresponding with the electrode, installed between the electrode terminal and the cap plate. |
