PURPOSE: A wood pellet burner of an upward fuel supply type is provided to prevent the incomplete combustion of fuel by smoothly supplying air to the central part of a burner head without increasing the capacity of a blower. CONSTITUTION: A wood pellet burner of an upward fuel supply type comprises a hollow air passage block(124), a backflow preventing damper, an auxiliary air supply pipe(116), and a flame detector. The air passage block is installed between a main air supply pipe(114) and a blower(126). The backflow preventing damper is installed on the air passage block and is opened only in a blowing direction. One end of the auxiliary air supply pipe is communicated with the upper part of the air passage block and the other end of the auxiliary air supply pipe is arranged on the upper part of a burner head(200) at an angle.
