PURPOSE: A construction material containing phase change material(PCM) microcapsules and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent degradation of compressive strength, bonding strength, and tensile strength. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a construction material(1) containing phase change material(PCM) microcapsules comprises the following steps: mixing PCM microcapsules in slurry phase with construction materials including sand, cement, gravel, blending material, and gypsum; mixing the construction material with cement or binder; and drying the mixture. The construction material has PCM microcapsules(2) attached on an exterior surface. The PCM microcapsules are offered in a slurry state and uniformly mixed with the construction material and dried in a drying furnace at 30-500deg.C. If the construction material neither the cement nor the gypsum, the cement, the gypsum, or the binder is added as a binding agent. The PCM microcapsules have 1-80weight% of solid portion. |
