PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing polyethylene terephthalate nanocomposite fiber is provided to enhance modulus retention and to enhance glass transition temperature. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing polyethylene terephthalate nanocomposite fiber with excellent modulus retention at high temperature comprises a step of melting and mixing terephthalic acid amine polyhedral oligomeric silsesquixane(TPA-A-POSS) to a polyethylene terephthalate chip to prepare a nanocomposite chip: and a step of melting and spinning the nanocomposite chip.
