PURPOSE: An image signal processing system for controlling an audio signal is provided to output an optical audio signal which is transformed by processing an input signal. CONSTITUTION: An image input device(10) receives a digital and analog image signal. An audio input device(18) receives an analog audio signal. An image output device(20) changes an image signal into a digital image signal or an analog image signal. An audio output device(28) outputs the analog audio signal. An image signal switching device(30) performs signal switching. Image signal converters(10b,20b) perform conversion between the digital and analog image signal and between an analog or digital image or an optical signal. An audio signal switching device(40) performs the signal switching. Audio signal converters(18b,28b) change the analog audio signal, which is input, into the analog audio signal which has a desired output value. An input unit(80) obtains a setting instruction and a renewal instruction from a user. An output unit(90) displays various information acoustically or visually. A communications unit(70) communicates with other electric apparatus through a network. A central control unit(100) outputs the image signal to an output port.
