PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling a grit supply apparatus for powering a pretreatment robot are provided to prevent a hose from clogging by rapidly transmitting a control order to a grit supply apparatus depending on the operation of a robot. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling a grit supply apparatus for powering a pretreatment robot comprises a robot(110), a grit supply apparatus(130), and a controller(120). The robot performs a pretreatment work. The grit supply apparatus supplies grit to the robot through a hose. The controller analyzes the information of a present work by receiving a work file from the robot and controls the grit supply apparatus based on the analyzed work information.
