PURPOSE: A device for preventing overload of a water-gate opening/closing device with a foreign-material removing function is provided to enhance durability of a device against overload and automatically remove foreign material simultaneously with recognizing overload. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing overload of a water-gate opening/closing device with a foreign-material removing function comprises a water-gate opening/closing device(1), an upper limit switch(51), a lower limit switch(52), a control unit(50), a timer switch(53), a first timer(54), a second timer(56) and a third timer(58). The upper limit switch is connected to the water-gate opening/closing device and senses the complete opening of the water gate. The lower limit switch senses the complete closing of the water gate. The control unit receives the position signal of the water gate output from the upper and lower limit switches and controls the operation of the water-gate opening/closing device. |
