A MULTI FUNCTIONAL ELASTIC ASCONE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: Multi purpose elastic asphalt concrete and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to control initial freezing of a road and solve problems such as the overuse of de-icing materials and the excessive cost of heating fabric fields. CONSTITUTION: Multi purpose elastic asphalt concrete(100) comprises aggregates(110) with a maximum particle size of 20mm. The aggregates comprise 30-60 parts by weight of coarse aggregate(111) and 30-50 parts by weight of fine aggregate(113) out of 100.0 parts by weight of the aggregate. The multi purposes elastic asphalt concrete comprises 5-10 parts by weight of filling material(120), 6-8 parts by weight of asphalt, and 1-5 parts by weight of rubber according to the total weight of the aggregates. The gradation composition rates of the rubber comprise 95-100 parts by weight of 13.2mm particles, 88-100 parts by weight of 4.75mm particles, 40-55 parts by weight of 2.36mm particles, and 5-20 parts by weight of 0.6mm particles by sieve weight. A manufacturing method of the multi purpose elastic asphalt concrete comprises the following steps: drying the aggregate; classifying dried aggregates into a plurality of hot bins by size; adding fillers into the hot bins; measuring the classified aggregates and filler; adding measured aggregates and filler into a pug mill; adding the heated rubber into the pug mill; a first mixing step wherein the added aggregates and rubber are mixed; and a second mixing step wherein the first mixture is mixed with measured asphalt.
