PURPOSE: A separating and stacking apparatus for preventing an overrun of stacked sheets in a sheet roller are provided to prevent stacked sheets of a sheet roller, which is installed on a shaft, from being overrun in the rotation direction of a roller. CONSTITUTION: A rotary encoder(200) is installed in a rotary shaft of a sheet roller. A leaf spring(400) is mounted on an outer circumference of the rotary encoder. The leaf spring adds a load to the encoder and controls the rotation of the encoder. A D cut portion(210) is formed at the outer circumference of the encoder.
