PURPOSE: A controller of an air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided to reconfirm current mode states to a user in case a switch re-operates in a state where only a single mode switch turns on, a display symbol for the re-operated mode switch turns on and off for a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION: A controller of an air conditioning system for a vehicle comprises multiple mode switches(3,5,7), display symbols(3a,5a,7a), and a controller(10). The mode switch is respectively installed in each discharged direction, and rotationally outputs on/off signals according to the manipulation of users in order to control discharged air in each target direction. The display symbols indicate whether the mode switches are turned on or not. When a single mode switch re-operates in a state where only the single mode switch among the other mode switches turns on, the controller turns on and off the target display symbol for a predetermined time.
