PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for sensing the emission amount of evaporative gas from an LNG tank are provided to lower the internal pressure of an LNG tank when the pressure of evaporative gas in the LNG tank increases, thereby preventing LNG weathering. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sensing the emission amount of evaporative gas from an LNG tank comprises a cylinder(10), a stator(20), a spool(40), and a piezoelectric element(50). The inlet of the cylinder is connected to the inside of an LNG tank and formed with an evaporative gas induction path(12) in which a support protrusion(11) is formed. The stator is fixed inside the cylinder and has an emission hole for discharging evaporative gas to an outlet. The spool is set on the support protrusion and closes the induction path by the elasticity of an elastic unit. The piezoelectric element generates electricity according to pressure. |
