PURPOSE: A switching apparatus of a vehicle and a controlling method thereof are provided to operate each function operation unit of a vehicle through a smart phone. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle includes function operation units, switch assemblies, and a controlling unit. A plurality of switch assemblies generates an on signal or off signal for the function operation unit. The controlling unit controls the operation of the function operation units based on a signal which is generated by the switch assemblies. A smart phone transmits the signal to the controlling unit through a communication module.
