<p>A crankset for the bottom bracket (6) of a cycle or a motorcycle, comprising: one or more crowns (2) susceptible to interact with one transmission chain (3); a shaped support body (5) for the crowns (2) suitable to be firmly associated to the bottom bracket (6), each crown (2) being joined to the support body (5) by screw means (8); one or more members (4) axially projecting from the crowns (2) and provided with hooking means (10) radially extending from the external surface of the projecting members (4) to hold the meshes of the transmission chain (3) in case of accidental falls thereof.
