<p>PURPOSE: Casting and continuous-rolling method and plant to make a blister metal type of metallic rolled goods are provided to increase productivity using only two casting lines coupled one rolling line. CONSTITUTION: A method of making a blister metal type of metallic rolled goods is as follows. Continuous casting is performed by a continuous casting machine(11), which comprises two casting lines, each of which casts a ratio of a long side to a short side of 1-4 of the cross section of an object with a square, rectangular or uniform section. A casting is cut to a given size by each casting line(21a,21b) to form segments with a length of 16-150m and weight of 10-100t.</p> |
