The installation has a fire alarm equipment comprising alarm managing units (20) connected with each other, where each managing unit manages a loop (30) of peripheral devices (31) connected to the managing units. A safety lighting equipment comprises autonomous safety lighting blocks (10) to ensure an escape lighting and/or a concealed lighting. The managing units are connected to a remote control circuit (40) of the lighting blocks, so that the managing units are connected between each other via the remote control circuit of the lighting blocks. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a safety installation.
