The tower has a stack of water flow plates (120), where each plate comprises an upper part (205) with water inlet pipe elements (235, 255) that include a water injection opening on the plates. A lower part (215) of each plate comprises water outlet pipe elements (220, 225) with a water collecting opening. An inclined intermediate part (210) guides injected water in contact with air to the lower part. A stack of elements of each water inlet pipe is air-tight, so that the water injected in each water inlet pipe flows on intermediate parts of the plates toward the water outlet pipe. The plates are composed of a material comprising armed fibers.
