The additive for paper making and use

It is described an additive for paper making by means of which the dusting tendency of paper can be reduced. The agent is based on starch, the molecular size of which has been reduced, and which has been cationized with a quaternary nitrogen compound to a charge from 0,36 to 1,46 mEkv/g. The agent is added to the fiber pulp for paper making prior to web formation.
