<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode plate for a lithium ion secondary battery and the lithium ion secondary battery wherein charge/discharge is made possible in further high capacity and large current. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode plate for the lithium ion secondary battery includes: a positive electrode plate including a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material layer formed on at least one surface thereof; and a negative electrode including a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on at least one surface thereof. The positive electrode current collector protrudes toward one surface side and has a protrusion, of which the center is a through-hole, formed therein. Out of the whole thickness of the positive electrode plate, the ratio occupied by the thickness of a portion, where only the positive electrode active material layer exists without existence of the positive electrode current collector and the protrusion thereof, is within 3% or more and 75% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
