<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of reducing power consumption, in an image display device capable of displaying a three-dimensional image. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device comprising a receiver for outputting images for displaying the three-dimensional image and viewing eyeglasses for viewing the three-dimensional image comprises: movement detection means for detecting the position or direction of the viewing eyeglasses; and power consumption reduction means which judges the viewing state of a viewer in accordance with the detected position or direction and darkens the screen of the receiver when the viewer does not view the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
