<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device which can correctly specify a position on a screen corresponding to a position where an input is accepted on an input panel even in the state where unspecified number of users use the touch panel device and the touch panel device is continuously running. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel device stores positional data representing a position on an input panel 2 where an input is accepted with a mark included in an image as a target, in a storage part 33 for each position of the mark, while displaying the image including information unrelated to calibration processing on a screen 1. The touch panel device averages the positions on the input panel 2 represented by the positional data for each position of the mark and calibrates the position on the screen 1 corresponding to the position where the input is accepted on the input panel 2 so as to reduce deviation between the position on the screen 1 specified from the averaged position and the position of the mark.
