<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing difference in color reproducibility in intermediate colors depending on types of sheets in juxtaposition placement printing and capable of maintaining stable color reproducibility even in different types of sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus forms color images using at least toners of three primary colors, which are a cyan toner, a magenta toner and a yellow toner, and a black toner, in juxtaposition placement image forming process, and achieves formation of an intermediate color by juxtaposition printing of two colors of the above toners. Numbers of dots (lines) in structural dots of the two colors are varied in accordance with light-diffusing characteristics of a sheet type support. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
