<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: a display device including a thin film transistor cannot be sealed using light sufficiently because wiring blocks the light. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device comprises a first substrate, a thin film transistor formed on the first substrate, an interlayer insulation film including an organic resin formed on the thin film transistor, a light-emitting element formed on the interlayer insulation film, and a second substrate provided to face the first substrate. The first substrate and the second substrate are attached to each other with a sealing material using light. The sealing material is provided overlapping with wiring having an opening. The sealing material is provided overlapping with a gate insulation film of the thin film transistor.
