<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire which suppresses an excessive deformation of its side portion when running over a projection on a road without uniformly increasing the gauge of the side portion. <P>SOLUTION: The inner surface 12B of a tire skeletal member 12 made of a resin material is provided with a first reinforcing portion 21 which is disposed so as to include the inner surface located at a position of coming in contact with the outermost portion of the rim flange 16F in the tire width direction when a side portion 26 is deformed by collapsing outwardly in a tire width direction along the rim flange 16F of a rim 16 as a bead 18 is fitted in the rim 16, and a second reinforcing portion 22 which is disposed on the inner surface 12B of the tire skeletal member 12 so as to include the inner surface located outside the first reinforcing portion 21 in a tire radial direction. When the tire runs over a projection on a road, the first and second reinforcing portions 21 and 22 support each other between the projection and the rim flange 16F, which suppresses a pinch cut resulting from the excessive deformation of the side portion 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
