<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that: tips of chopsticks cannot be lined up; food cannot be picked up, and so on, when a twist larger than an elastic body pressing the chopsticks is applied to the chopsticks when a person having a severe disability in his hands, an infant grasping the chopsticks when using them or a foreigner uses a chopstick holder attached to the upper parts of the chopsticks of a previous application (reference document of patent publication number: 2009-254806). <P>SOLUTION: The upper parts of two chopsticks 10 in the chopstick holder 1 are sandwiched between two flat plates 2 and 3 by the force of the elastic body or a rubber band 6. In addition, the chopstick holder 1 includes a gap limiting mechanism which limits increase in gap between the chopsticks 10 and the two plates 2 and 3. In this manner, the chopstick holder 1 serves as an aid for chopsticks 10 when the chopsticks 10 are attached to it and helps a user line up the tips of the chopsticks 10 more accurately than a conventional one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
