<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device capable of reducing useless power consumption, and a display device and an electronic apparatus equipped with the detection device. <P>SOLUTION: A memory section 55 stores a table describing: a plurality of threshold values for signals output from a convert section 53; and an index of resistance elements which is newly reset when the sizes of signals output from the convert section 53 exceeds one threshold value.
