<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beast leg-tying trap whose rope loop-like part diameter is reduced to trap a beast and which can easily be set, can trap animals ranged from a large animal such as wild boar to a light animal such as rabbit or fox, is compact, and has a low-cost safety device. <P>SOLUTION: The beast trap is characterized by inserting a bar buried in the ground into both the circular parts of a spring in a state that the circular parts of the spring are approached each other, rotating an engaging member to engage the inserted circular parts with the support member and the claw part of the engaging member, rotating the engaging member in response to the downward moving outer force of a stepping member accompanied by the stepping of a beast to release the engagement of the claw part of the engaging member with the circular parts of the spring, and thereby pulling the end part of the trap rope by the energizing force of the spring to reduce the diameter of the loop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
