The invention relates to a method for simulating the movement behaviour of a fluid (16; 17) in a closed, moving container (14; 15), the container having a capacity (VT) and the fluid (16; 17) having a volume (VL), wherein a temporally variable or likewise constant disturbance affects the container, whereby the container is deflected from an idle position by an angle fo situated in a disturbance plane (E) having an axis of the container. The potential movement path of the center of gravity (CoG) of the volume (VL) of the fluid, as an elliptical trajectory situated in the disturbance plane and having the half-axes according to formula (I), wherein A represents the largest cross-sectional area of the container perpendicular to the disturbance plane (E). |
