<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding device that can simplify a preparation operation when detecting a loose state of a medium. <P>SOLUTION: The feeding device 13 includes: a rotation axis J that supports a roll body R around which a long sheet S is rolled; a rotation mechanism 19 that unrolls the sheet S from the roll body R and rotates the rotation axis J in a direction where the sheet S is loosened downward the rotation axis J after unrolling the sheet S from the roll body R; a looseness sensor 20 that is disposed downward the rotation axis J and that detects a downward position of a loosened portion SG of the sheet S that is hung from the roll body R by the gravity of the sheet S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
