<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change double and developing states of a movable preliminary seedling-placing table. <P>SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter includes: a transplanting part 16 provided in a traveling vehicle body for transplanting a seedling in a field; an operation part 10 having a driving seat 12 and a steering handle 18; a support member 24 fixed to the traveling vehicle body; preliminary seedling-placing tables 20u, 20m, and 20d for placing preliminary seedlings; a link member connected to the support member 24 through a shaft and connecting the preliminary seedling-placing tables 20u, 20m, and 20d; and a switching device 21 for varying the positions of the preliminary seedling-placing tables 20u, 20m, and 20d by moving the link member.
