<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnaturalness in the autonomous operation of a robot. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for controlling a robot, the robot having a movable part detects a dialogue request to the robot based on voice data or image data outputted from a sensor, and outputs detected data indicating the detected dialogue request after adding a degree of the confidence of the detection. The robot operates the movable part based on the detected data when the degree of confidence is higher than a predetermined level, and when the degree of confidence is not higher than the predetermined level, operates the movable part based on preset operation data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
