<p>The present invention is provided with: a sound source (IC1); an amplifier (2) that amplifies sound from the sound source (IC1); a piezoelectric speaker (3) that produces sound on the basis of a drive signal from the amplifier (2); an MPU (4) that performs a prescribed control process on the drive signal; a memory (5) that stores temperature dependence information for the piezoelectric constant (d14) and Young's modulus (E) of the piezoelectric speaker (3); and a temperature sensor (6) that detects the ambient temperature. The MPU (4) has a correction means (4a) that checks the detection results from the temperature sensor (6) against the temperature dependence information, and in accordance with the result thereof, performs temperature correction on the drive signal, which becomes an audio signal. The piezoelectric speaker (3) outputs the audio signal temperature-corrected by the correction means (4a). This makes it possible to implement various piezoelectric devices, such as a piezoelectric speaker system, whereby variations in various input information can be minimized even if the temperature in the usage environment changes.</p> |
