PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Nε-acyl-L-lysine-specific aminoacylase which enables the efficient synthesis of an Nε-acyl-L-lysine; and a method for efficiently synthesizing an Nε-acyl-L-lysine.

SOLUTION: There are provided an Nε-acyl-L-lysine-specific aminoacylase comprising a specific amino acid sequence originated from Streptomyces mobaraensis; DNA encoding the Nε-acyl-L-lysine-specific aminoacylase, or a variant thereof; and a transformant carrying a recombinant DNA molecule comprising the DNA or the variant thereof.
