<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain pressure loss of the fresh air and increase the mixing amount of the exhaust gas in an EGR mixer for mixing fresh air and exhaust gas by negative pressure sucking of the exhaust gas to the fresh air flow. <P>SOLUTION: The EGR mixer 1 has a primary internal aperture 22 intersecting with a channel central axis 29 without forming a right angle. Therefore, pressure loss due to rapid expansion at ejection of fresh air from the primary internal aperture 22 can be restrained. Moreover, exhaust gas moving straight from a secondary internal aperture 23 to a secondary direction passes through the primary internal aperture 22 by the straight movement to the secondary direction. Thereby, the exhaust gas passed through the primary internal aperture 22 in the secondary direction pushes the fresh air flow toward an internal wall 44 of a primary introduction part 17. Therefore, the fresh air flow along the internal wall 44 is further narrowed for forming a larger negative pressure so that the sucking force to the exhaust gas can be made higher. Thus, the pressure loss of the fresh air is restrained and the mixing amount of the exhaust gas is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
