PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for precisely depositing the same amount of a particular substance at one or more locations on an object.

SOLUTION: The establishment of a stable acoustic environment within the individual channels of an inkjet printing device functions to allow the inkjet printing device to precisely deposit the same amount of a particular substance at one or more locations on an object. This is particularly relevant when the inkjet printing device is operated in the on-demand mode of operation.
