<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus capable of preventing occurrence of a developer cohesive layer between the inner wall of a developing container and an agitation conveyance screw and also preventing the expansion of a range of the developer cohesive layer. <P>SOLUTION: A development apparatus 100 comprises: a developing container 110 containing developer; and rotatable developer agitation conveyance means 102B which is housed in the developing container 110. When the developing container 110 is viewed in the rotation axis direction of the developer agitation conveyance means 102B, dam members 130 and 130 projecting from the inner wall of the developing container 110 are provided in a clearance 104B between a rotation periphery 107B of the developer agitation conveyance means 102B and the inner wall of the developing container 110, on both sides separated by a vertical plane V passing through the rotation axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
