ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element comprising a material for an organic EL element having a high glass-transition temperature (Tg), which readily forms a stable thin film because of poor crystallization of the molecule and has excellent characteristics such as low-voltage driving and prolonged life when used as a blue light-emitting material for an organic EL element.

SOLUTION: In an organic EL element where a plurality of organic layers including a light-emitting layer are formed between a pair of electrodes, at least one layer of the organic layers contains spiro-linked bisbiphenylene derivative and one kind and/or two kinds of pyrene derivatives.
