PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select only image data with an excellent focusing state from captured image data and allow an immediate view of target image data.

SOLUTION: A computer 1 for managing image data captured by a CCD camera 5 includes: a storage section 120 for storing a plurality of image data; a focus evaluation value calculation section 116 for sequentially acquiring the image data captured by the CCD camera 5, calculating focus evaluation values of the acquired image data, and setting priority of the image data according to the focus evaluation values; a data selection section 115 for selecting image data stored in the storage section 120 according to the priority set by the focus evaluation value calculation section 116; and a window 42 for displaying the image data stored in the storage section 120 according to the priority.
