PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the utilization of a glycerylphosphoinositol derivative as a modulator for the phospholipase of cytosol.

SOLUTION: The inventions refer to a phamaceutically permissible excipient, and a phamaceutical composition in superficial topical application for treating dermatitis, UV-induced skin red spots or catarrh irritation including, as an active ingredient, the M salt of L-α-glycero-phospho-D-myo-inositol äin the formula, the M denotes the pharmacologically permissible cation of an inorganic element or a phamacologically permissible organic base having valency n+(wherein, n is 1, 2 or 3)}.
