<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which has flexibility and rigidity of a seating surface at a backrest, and is comfortable to sit. <P>SOLUTION: The chair includes the backrest by mounting a back shell made of resin on a front surface of right/left back support arms extending in a rear-upper direction from a support base. The back support arm directly supports the back shell at a waist part and below the waist part.
