<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scattering prevention structure having improved screening properties while preventing interference. <P>SOLUTION: A grinder 10 includes a pair of support bases 12 and 13, a grinding head 14, and a biaxial feeder 16 which makes the grinding head 14 supported movably in the advancing/receding direction of advancing and receding in a direction of a rotating shaft L of a workpiece W and with respect to the workpiece W. The scattering prevention structure 1 screens a working area S of the grinder. The scattering prevention structure 1 comprises first and second covers 2 and 3 which are attached to the support bases 12 and 13, respectively, and an accordion cover 4 which is formed of a fabric material or a sheet-like member attached to the grinding head 14 in such a manner as to be joined to the first and second covers 2 and 3. In the accordion cover 4, edges 44a and 44b in the direction of the rotating shaft L are joined to the first and second covers 2 and 3, and edges in a direction orthogonal to the rotating shaft L are joined to an upper cover 51. The accordion cover comprises an accordion portion 41 which is formed like parallel folds in such a manner as to be expandable and contractible in the direction of the rotating shaft L, and a sagging portion 42 which is formed between the edges 44c and 44d in the direction orthogonal to the accordion portion 41 and the rotating shaft L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
