<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting head module and a liquid ejecting apparatus which are capable of decreasing in size and enhancing printing quality by disposing nozzle rows adjacent to each other. <P>SOLUTION: Head units 10, each of which has a holding member to hold a plurality of liquid ejecting heads 20 provided with a nozzle opening for ejecting liquid, are disposed side by side in a first direction Y. In the head units 10, rows of the plurality of liquid ejecting heads 20 disposed side by side in the first direction Y on the holding member are disposed side by side in a second direction X crossing the first direction Y, and projecting portions 11 and 13 and recessed portions 12 and 14 are formed at respective opposite ends of the holding members of the head units 10 adjacent to each other in the first direction Y. The liquid ejecting heads 20 are arranged on the projecting portions 11 and 13. In the head units 10 adjacent in the first direction Y, the projecting portions 11 and 13 and the recessed portions 12 and 14 are fit and arranged, whereby the liquid ejecting heads 20 provided on the projecting portions 11 and 13 of the adjacent head units 10 are arranged in overlapping relation to each other in the second direction X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
