摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot that can be miniaturized even if it enables the horizontal position adjustment of the hand and arm. <P>SOLUTION: The industrial robot 1 includes: a hand 3 loaded with a conveyance target; an arm 4 connected with the hand 3; a support member 6 for supporting the arm 4; and a columnar member 7 for vertically movably supporting the support member 6. The columnar member 7 has a column 18 for holding the support member 6, and a column 17 for holding the column 18. The columns 17, 18 are inclined in directions opposite to each other with respect to the vertical direction. The column 18 holds the support member 6 so as to allow the relative movement of the support member 6 in its inclination direction.
