<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which simply cleans and removes marine organisms such as barnacles adhering to the outer surface of an object to be cleaned which is inside a stream, has a cross-sectional shape of a round shape, and extends for a long distance of a streamer cable for sea towing used for sonic prospecting for an offshore oil resource or the like during the employment. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: at least three driven wheel units which are arranged at the outer periphery of the object to be cleaned, are strongly pushed to the outer peripheral surface of the object to be cleaned, and are arranged in the state that the axis of the driven wheel is not parallel but slanted a little to the axis of the object to be cleaned; two or more reversible-pitch propeller units which are arranged at the outer periphery of the object to be cleaned; a propeller pitch reversal mechanism for reversing the rotating direction of the reversible-pitch propeller units; a propeller pitch fixing mechanism which fixes the pitch of the propeller; and a frame which combines the driven wheel units and the reversible-pitch propeller units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
