Suspension for motor vehicles in which the front AV axle assembly and rear AR axle assembly include means allowing a mechanical transmission of forces between the two wheels 1a, 1b - 1c, 1d of one and the same axle assembly. In this suspension, the front and rear axle assemblies are interconnected by two assemblies 20a-20b arranged symmetrically on either side of the longitudinal axis XX of the vehicle and each consisting of a mechanical system allowing the forces between the front axle assembly and the rear axle assembly to be reversed, both being without a retard or delay, these connection assemblies including, at the front and rear axle assemblies, additional assemblies comprising springs 23a-23b and shock absorbers 23'a-23'b which bear on the connection elements 5a, 5b or 4a, 4b connecting each hub holder 2a, 2b to the chassis 3 of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
