#CMT# #/CMT# The compression plate has a compression cushion arranged between a compression plate (KP) and a support plate (D). The cushion is formed such that a shape of an object (O) to be compressed is imaged in the cushion during pressing of a surface of the cushion. The cushion is arranged in an underside of the compression plate and an upper surface of the support plate. The cushion forms a polygonal cylinder, where walls and/or top surfaces of the cylinder are made of flexible and stretchable material.
