The invention relates to an absorption agent for removing acidic gases from a fluid flow, comprising an aqueous solution (A) of an alkali metal salt of an N,N-di-C-C-alkyl-amino carbolic acid and (B) N-hydroxyethylpiperazine. The absorption agent comprises a lower vapor pressure and increased resistance to oxygen. Preferable fluid flows are combustion exhaust or biogas.
