<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material which is inexpensive and is improved in charge discharge capacity and output characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium transition metal composite oxide represented by general formula Li<SB POS="POST">a</SB>Ni<SB POS="POST">b</SB>Mn<SB POS="POST">1-b</SB>W<SB POS="POST">c</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(wherein a, b, and c satisfy 1<a<1.2, 0.5≤b≤0.7, and 0<c≤0.02 respectively) is used as the positive electrode active material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
