<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile fuel power generator using a hydrogen generator capable of efficiently obtaining hydrogen to be supplied to fuel cells mounted in an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: In the automobile fuel power generator, the hydrogen generator, which is connected to the automobile fuel cells mounted in the automobile, includes a pair of electrodes arranged inside a reactor. In a method used by the automobile fuel power generator for generating hydrogen, a pulse with a very short rise time and a maximally high voltage, which allows separation of hydrogen from a hydrogen-containing compound fed from the outside and disposed between the both electrodes, is intermittently applied within a range where no glow discharge or arc discharge occurs between the both electrodes, and by the formed electric field, hydrogen is generated from the hydrogen-containing compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
