<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for attaching a fan motor to a housing that achieves keeping of strength of a louver and eliminates a problem of space saving, and provide an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: A finger guard shaped section 17 is provided to a stay member 16 that connects between side plates 13 and 14 arranged in parallel to each other for constituting the housing of an image forming device, and the fan motor is installed inside the finger guard shaped section 17. The finger guard shaped section 17 has slit shaped openings with a length direction being in a compression direction of the stay member 16, so as to secure compression strength of the stay member 16, and to eliminate the necessity of a protection member only for preventing interference to the fan motor. In addition, a fan motor 18 is attached to the stay member 16, which eliminates the necessity of a bracket exclusive for the fan motor so as to reduce the cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
