<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of performing stable optical scanning. <P>SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes a light source 14 having multiple light emission parts two-dimensionally arranged, a separation optical element 12 which separates a light flux from the light source 14 into a light flux for scanning and a light flux for monitoring, a polygon mirror 19 for deflecting the light flux for scanning from the separation optical element 12, a scanning optical system for guiding the light flux for scanning deflected by the polygon mirror 19 to a photoreceptor drum and a light receiving element 33 for receiving the light flux for monitoring from the separation optical element 12. The normal direction of the surfaces of the light incident side in the separation optical element 12 is oblique to the incident direction of the light flux from the multiple light emission parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
